What we do

One job, done properly

We take genuine OEM tail light assemblies, split them, strip the red, refinish the internals in chrome, and seal them back up with brand new gaskets. No aftermarket shells, no eBay units, no guessing at fitment.

01

Genuine housings only

We start with OEM assemblies, so the mounts, plugs and body lines are exactly what the factory intended.

02

Sealed to survive

Correct adhesive, correct cure, brand new gaskets. Fogging and water ingress are covered for 6 months.

03

Enthusiast turnaround

Small batches, built to order, shipped in custom-cut foam. You'll deal with the person who built your set.

Clear Tail Lights – Mitsubishi Lancer CJ

The CJ's factory reds hide a genuinely sharp light signature. We strip it back to clear and chrome so the whole rear end finally reads as intentional.

Blobeye and hawkeye sedans wear clears better than almost anything else on the road. Chrome bowls, crisp lenses, zero fogging.

Zero drama install

Ordered the full chrome set, installed in about 20 minutes with zero drama. Factory plug straight in, no wiring needed. Car looks so much cleaner now, wish I did this ages ago.

Better than expected

Kevin kept me updated the whole way through, didn't just go quiet after I paid. Quality's genuinely better than I expected for the price — no fogging, no gaps, sits flush.

Maddi T. · Impreza 03-07

Worth the wait

Really happy with how these turned out, only reason it's not 5 stars is shipping took a bit longer than I expected. Communication was good about it though, and the end result was worth the wait.

Stand out.

A red lens is the last thing holding your rear end back. Clean internals, genuine chrome, zero cutting or drilling — bolt them on and your car finally looks as sharp as the rest of the build.

About us

Small shop. Sharp output.

Hey there, I'm Kevin — I created Stanjo Customs because I wanted a proper alternative to stock red lenses and sketchy eBay conversions that fog up within a year. Every set I build gets treated like it's going on my own car, because most of them have.

I'm not a big operation, just one guy in a home workshop doing conversions properly. Every set starts as a genuine OEM assembly. I split it, strip the red, refinish the internals in chrome, and reseal it with a brand new gasket — then it gets checked under light and under water before it goes anywhere near a box. If I wouldn't run it on my own car, I won't sell it on yours.

That's also why I only support two platforms right now — the Lancer CJ and the 03-07 Impreza. I'd rather nail the fitment on what I know than rush something out because a waitlist looked big enough to gamble on.
